Good Day,
Welcome to my unique job search in the St. Catharines & Niagara Region! (Ontario, Canada)
I have a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, and a Master's in Business; I have elected
to move away from the manufacturing sector. I do realize the bulk of my experience is manufacturing, many of the skills
are highly transferrable to other areas.
Working as temporary replacement as Support for the Job Search Workshop
Program at the Folk Arts Council has given me the opportunity to see the diversity in our region. I am keenly
interested in expanding my administrative background through other similar positions.
My Bachelor of Mechanical
Engineering degree combined with a Master of Business Administration have exposed me to all areas of business, from studies
to marketing plans to budgeting. As a trained facilitator, I have coached all levels of employees; my volunteer
work with St. John's Ambulance in the Therapy Dog program has allowed me to work with more challenged individuals and bring
joy to their lives. For the past seven years, I have volunteered significant time and energy into our local Freecycle(TM)
group (www.freecycle.org). My creative side is clearly shown in my small business: creating custom and allergy-aware cakes in the Niagara region.
As I continue to move away from Manufacturing, I believe there are countless opportunities available for me.
I realize there is a significant pay variance outside of the Manufacturing sector, and am very open to discussions about potential
opportunities.
Best Regards,
Jodi M. Sawicki
